Judah 2nd Hair Cut

Judah's first hair cut didn't exactly turn out as planned so I asked my sister, Keri, to touch up the long hair that had grown over his ears and the stood straight up in the back.
He sat still and did very well... for the most part.

He looked very handsome afterward, you can't really tell here because he has a little bit of bedhead.
This hair cut turned out much better, thanks Aunty Keri!

Judah's First Play Date

We got to spend some time with a friend, Cara Comptom, who was at the same camping trip where Jon and I first held hands and basically started dating. Her little girl, Brooklynn, who is soooo adorable starting walking at 7 months and his a little ball of energy!!!
She's just so petite and the cutest little thing!

They seemed to get along really well :) She gave Judah kisses and loves.
We had the play date at Grandma Merrill's house.

More Family Fun in Seattle

Grandpa Merrill was getting Judah to take his first steps, he's 6 months old.

He was having fun.

Judah enjoyed spending time with Grandpa.

The day we left for Seattle Judah starting holding himself up on his hands. He has rolled over a few times before and a couple of times during this trip but he doesn't really know how.

Aunt Wendy and Grandma Merrill got to spend some time with Judah too.

And then they all came over to Nana and Papa's house for dinner.

We went to Great GrandMarie and Grandpa Bill's house for Sessions' famous beans and puffs with all of Nana's side of the family. Everyone loved Judah because he would go to them without any fuss and he was so pleasant.

This is Judah's cousin, Jordan, who is 17 and as tall as me!

This is Judah's cousin, Tyler, who was VERY good with him. He spent most of the evening holding him and cuddling. He was able to get him to take a nap without any fuss, I've asked him to come back home with me to be our nanny... he enthusiastically agreed :)

This is after Tyler had just gotten him to sleep.... without any fuss whatsoever! He's awesome!
My brother David and his little boy Jonah taking a "nap" on the seat cushions on the floor.

Just below Great Grandpa Bill who always takes a nap on the couch.
Judah got to have some naked time... which he loves!... while my Aunt Dian played with him.

I love my GrandMarie and my Aunt Dian!

My Grandpa Bill is so affectionate haha! He's not.

I'm so happy that I was able to come to Seattle so my family could meet Judah. He was so good and everyone loved him... how could you not?! I wish Jon could have come too but he is still in school and couldn't afford to miss any classes.

Judah's Little Spa

Judah is almost 6 months old now and giggling so much. I wish I had a video of him laughing because it is so cute! It's usually really random though. Here he is lying in my mom's sink and having a great time.

Having Fun in Seattle

Judah and I went to Seattle for a week to visit family and friends since a lot of them haven't met Judah yet. We had the Winkler's and the Jones' as well as my sis-in-law, Julie, over for dinner and had a really good time. We even skyped Jon so he could feel included.

My dad and Judah hanging out with my nephew, Jonah, being really cute haha!

My mom cuddling with Judah before he went down for bed.

Earlier that day we needed to clean the bathtub before giving Judah a bath so I had to put him somewhere for the time being and he fit perfectly in his own little spa, and loved it!
We're having a great time in Seattle so far and can't wait to see the rest of our family as the week goes on. It has snowed and caused bad driving conditions which has prevented us from visiting my sister in Puyallup and a friend in Bonney Lake but at least I'll see my sister on Saturday at my Grandma's.

Give Me Food!

Judah is such a good eater, I love feeding him cereal and other baby food because he just scarfs it down and wants more! I think it's cute. He also seems to want to eat our food too... now when he sees us eat he wants what we are having and he wants it now! Not yet little man but I like your enthusiasm for trying new things... although I'm sure that won't last forever.

The sun comes out in February

I wasn't quite sure how warm it would be when we decided to go for a walk so I wanted to be prepared in case it was windy. Turned out to be absolutely beautiful and he was overdressed.
We spent some time sun bathing on the back deck enjoying the sun and listening to music.

It started to get a little breezy so I put his jacket on. He started out sitting up against me but gradually slipped down to this comfortable? position.

He seemed to enjoy it just fine so I let him stay like that for a while haha, he's so funny.

The weather man says it is suppose to be 70 degrees today! I'm so excited for this sunny weather, it makes me so happy! But unfortunately it will be short lived, the weather man is also saying that by next week we will be getting snow again... blah! I knew it was too good to be true.

Judah likes to stand

Judah loves to stand up, it makes me wonder if he will walk before he learns to crawl because he definitely doesn't like tummy time.

5 Months Old

Judah is sitting up so well now, I feed him in a bumbo seat and he can hold himself up the whole plus sometimes I leave him in there for up to a half hour longer if he isn't fussy.

Notice the pink and purple, hand-me-downs, he doesn't mind :)

Judah wanted to support BYU in the biggest game of the season against SDSU... which they won. I think he looks super cute in jeans and a t-shirt.

He can't be supporting BYU without supporting his daddy's current school American University (which is 12mo t-shirt). Did I mention I think he is so super cute in jeans and a t-shirt?! I can't wait til he wear sneakers.

Judah loves to stand up. He is 5 months old now and cannot stand up alone with support or holding his hands he could do it forever. He has very strong/stiff legs. He does NOT like tummy (normal I'm sure) so he is balding in the back plus his head a little flat but he LOVES to play on his back where he can reach his feet.
