Jon made and amazing steak dinner marinated in Dr. Pepper (his specialty). What a way to start our honeymoon!

Honeymoon

We spent our honeymoon at Westport on the WA coast.

This is our lovely room in the cabin we stayed in. We played monopoly a lot.

It was cold and windy but the sunset was beautiful.

And then we went out to fly our pirate kite.

I was so tired so I decided to take a nap on the beach while Jon read.

Here it is, intimidating isn't it?

We paid to go out on the sea for a whale watching excursion but we ending up not seeing any and Jon got a little sea sick.

But he's a trooper and endured through the whole thing without getting too green.

When we got back to the marina we did get to see this guy hanging out around our boat, at least we got to see some wildlife.

Jon and I were fortunate enough to stay at a friend's cabin on a lake in Canada on our way to work for the summer in Calgary.

The view was so beautiful and peaceful.

Jon is very good at skipping rocks.

The beach was rocky but it was such a gorgeous walk.
