Family Pictures at the DC Temple

All of Jon's siblings took family pictures in front of their nearest temple for his dad's birthday. We are so lucky that our temple is next door to our church building so we just walked over after church one Sunday, but it was a little too bright outside.

There's the Judah stare. We had to try to balance our camera on a bag and use the timer to get us all in. Here we are trying to set up the shot. Obviously Judah was caught off guard.

 I'm pretty sure we used one of these for Jon's dad.

 These two boys make me so happy!

 Judah is about 14 months old now and starting to take steps and standing really well. He still gets around faster crawling though. 

I'm so happy that we are an eternal family!

We're Back in DC!

We are back on the east coast in the wonderful humid and hot state of Maryland. Oh and Judah got a haircut :). Don't you just love that look haha.

We thought it would be so much fun to play some sand volleyball in the wonderful weather... it was fun, but sand and sweat don't go well together. 

Judah has learned to escape from "baby jail". Oh boy, here we go!

 I always think there is something in his mouth when it's closed because it's always open. Maybe he was just trying to say something as I took the picture. He's still cute.

It's good to be back!

Summer in Seattle

  I always loved it when these two would get together. Judah loved to just follow his cousin Jonah around.

 

 

 

We went to the Wildlife Park for my mom's birthday.

 

We went on a family camping trip with my parents and my brother David, Julie and Jonah.

 We went out to lunch with my family before going back to DC.

 Judah and Jonah (I know, I know) were twinners with their shirts so I had to get a picture of them. Unfortunately Jonah wasn't really into sitting so close to Judah (maybe because Judah was all over him). He was fine just standing next to him haha.

We had a gorgeous day so Judah and I went swimming with Wendy. This is Judah's new face that he likes to make.

He had so much fun with his Aunt Wendy.
He kept trying to take his hat off, even though it looked SO cute on him!

As you probably noticed in the previous pictures, Judah got his hair cut. Not only is it currently shorter but it is also sooo much lighter, and getting lighter! You can see here how long his hair used to be.

Thanks to Uncle Danny and Aunt April we have this cool high chair to feed Judah now. He obviously thinks he rules this place as you can see by his posture.
Such beautiful flowers! We went with Jon to campus one day to get out of the house and it was a gorgeous day!
This is Judah's friend, June. She enjoys sitting on him haha. He doesn't seem to mind.
Except for when he's really tired haha.
